Staying true to our creed of "artisan coffee roasted by a scientist"... Garage Roasters has devoted a heap of roasting time to R&D over the last few months.
Our Coffee Prototypers product showcases a new coffee each month. These coffees highlight the flavours in the cup which arise from different varietals, origins and processing methods... and the coffees are often outrageous and stunning!
Today i wanted to let you know about FOUR NEW OFFERINGS that have arisen from recent Coffee Prototypers releases.
Turkish Delight is a Garage Roasters proprietary blend paying homage to the classic Turkish delight and chocolate confectionary. It is a blend of a Colombian rose mossto co-ferment, a natural Ethiopian, and a washed Guatemalan. This blend is redolent of rose water, milk chocolate and dark chocolate. It's delightful and amazing and we think it really does mimic the flavour of Turkish delight/chocolate!
Coconut Rough is a Garage Roasters proprietary blend paying homage to the classic Golden Rough confectionary. It is a blend of a Colombian coconut co-ferment, a natural Ethiopian, and a washed Guatemalan. This blend bursts with the flavours of toasted coconut, milk chocolate and dark chocolate.
EL SALVADOR - CARLOS POLA ANAEROBIC HONEY PACAMARA
Anne Cooper is one of Australia's leading coffee roasting consultants and when she recommends a coffee we listen. She's been so excited about Carlos Pola's brilliant El Salvadoran coffees and we understand why. This anaerobic process coffee has flavour notes o apricot, stone fruit, maple syrup, white blossoms, blood orange, bright acidity, with a silky mouthfeel.
CHINA YUNNAN THE NEST MANOR SYRINA
This is the first coffee from China that Garage Roasters has roasted. The Nest Manor is one of Yunnan's best coffee producers and Syrina is a rare hybrid coffee varietal which produces wild tropical flavour notes. The coffee is harvested at altitudes between 1,480 and 1,600 and has tasting notes of jackfruit, passionfruit, and citrus.
I'm looking forward to the roasting chaos that arises from this newsletter!!!
