Milk steaming curiosity...
I'm curious about your experience steaming milk for your coffee. For those of you who can respond, would you mind letting me know:
1. What coffee machine you have?
2. Whether you have a steam pressure gauge and, if so, what the pressure of the steam boiler is?
3. How much milk you typically steam?
4. How long it takes you to steam your milk?
For reference...
My machine is a La Marzocco Linea Mini.
As you can see in the photograph at the top of this blog post my steam pressure sits at 2.1 bar.
I typically steam 266 mL of milk.
It takes me 16.4 seconds to steam this volume of milk.
