The National Centre for Childhood Grief (NCCG) supports bereaved children aged 3-17 years and their families following the death of their parent, sibling or other close loved one. Services provided from our care centre in Hornsby, Sydney, include personalised counselling, group programs, activity camps, published resources, professional training and outreach support to schools and businesses impacted by a bereavement. Community donations allow us to provide free, unlimited care to children and subsided care to adults, to minimise financial barriers to our essential care. The death of a parent or sibling is one of the most traumatic experiences for a child. With professional care bereaved children can learn to live with their grief, remember their loved one with joy and live their own best life.
