Terry's Chocolate Orange

Terry's Chocolate Orange

Do you love the combination of dark chocolate and orange?

For the longest time I've had a little obsession with jaffa... and particularly with Terry's Chocolate Orange.  I spent a number of early formative years living in England and my name is Terence so forgive me if I feel just a touch proprietorial about this confectionary delight.

There's just something quite wonderful about dark chocolate and orange and that combination!  Dark chocolate has cocoa complexity, bitterness and a little sweetness too.  The orange contributes cleansing acidity and ripe citrus character... I really love the ripe end of the citrus spectrum.  It's a heavenly taste match in my opinion.

Last week I foreshadowed that I'd be offering up exotic tasting coffees on a regular basis.  This week I'm showcasing a Colombian Caturra which exhibits (surprise, surprise) characters of dark chocolate and orange.  You can find it here if you're curious!
