Coffee order sizing...

Those of you who know me well will understand that I value being a little different and that I also tend to make life difficult for myself (I still drive a manual tranmission car for example).

When I started delivering bags of coffee, I made the decision to pack as much coffee into each bag as I reasonably could.  In the image above you see bags designed for (from left to right) 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg of roasted coffee.  The bags can actually fit 333 g, 667 g and 1,333 g respectively.  Maximising the amount of coffee I can fit in bags is great because the amount of packaging per mass of coffee beans is minimised and that feels efficient to me.

Unfortunately, I think that the coffee consuming market out there has a different perspective.  If I'm not sticking to the middle of the fairway by offering product sizing in multiples of 250 g then I suspect that I'm making life unnecessarily difficult for new customers shopping for roasted coffee.

Can you please let me know your thoughts?  If I shifted to product sizing in multiples of 250 g would that be problematic for you?  Or might it improve your experience?  Thanks in advance for providing your feedback.
