Access to experimental coffee roasts!
As I foreshadowed last week, I've now set up a product for those of you interested in accessing fascinating cutting edge coffee roasts on a monthly basis.
One of the most exciting things about roasting coffee is being able to try a really wide spectrum of coffees and experience the astonishing breadth of flavours available from this wonderful beverage.
If you like experimenting with your coffee and are open to flavour experiences then Coffee Prototypers is for you. You'll get to taste coffees from fascinating origins processed using leading edge techniques with startling flavour characteristics. On the horizon for Coffee Prototypers are coffees such as:
- Colombian coffees processed using anaerobic and carbonic maceration processes as well as Japanese Koji fermentation;
- Coffees barrel-aged with fruits such as mandarin as well as other products such as whisky!
- Coffee infused with peach and coconut-caramel.
This coffee is roasted for espresso and is sold in 250 g lots of whole beans only.
This product is roasted on the second Saturday of each month. Orders need to be placed two weeks prior to roast date so that I have time to source the beans for that month. The Prototyper beans will be shipped the Monday following roast date.
The next roast date for Coffee Prototypers will be Saturday August 10, so orders need to be placed by Saturday July 27 in order to meet the cut off for that edition of the product.
