2024 GoldenBean Australasia Silver Medalist for Category 1: Espresso.

A super premium blend of grade 1 African coffee beans.  The components of this blend were selected for intensity and to allow different processing methodologies to create the necessary brightness to balance that intensity.  This blend has flavours of dark chocolate, blood orange, apricot, almond, honey and a hint of raspberry.  It's wonderful as espresso and also in milk-based drinks.

Very good, with milk flat white style or long black style (no sugar). Tastes delicious!

Out of Africa - an excellent blend..

This blend was a revelation. I usually prefer African beans and have been enjoying Garage Roasters' African single origin beans for some time. This blend had a lot of the characters that drew me to single origin African beans - great fruit and berry flavours, some citrus and good acid, with some chocolate earthiness too - but with a rounder flavour profile and lengthy mouthfeel, as well as great acid. It works well with milk as well as espresso.
This is now my go-to blend.

Another quality coffee!

Lovely tasting new blend. Very forgiving over a range of extraction times with quicker flowing shots emphasising sweet orange and slower flowing shots emphasising chocolate notes. Am adding to my growing list of regular Garage Roasters orders.
Note: pulled at a 1:1-1.5 ratio with a machine that allows for pressure profile mimicking a londinium style shot at 93-94 degrees at the group head.
