The story behind the story...
If you haven't already seen the article, Garage Roasters had the good fortune to be featured in an article on coffee innovation in Good Food in the Sydney Morning Herald on Saturday. This was an incredibly exciting episode in the Garage Roasters story... and the truth is that I have no idea how this came to be.
A week ago I received an email from Bianca Hrovat, the Sydney correspondent for SMH Good Food, asking for some help in writing an article on innovation in the Australian coffee industry. Doing my best attempt at looking a gift horse in the mouth I asked whether I'd be able to see the article before it was published... alas no!
I responded with 727 word email on all things coffee innovation. The response that this little family-owned roastery has seen from this article has been phenomenal... and welcome to all of the new newsletter subscribers!
The great mystery is that I have no idea how Bianca found me in the first place!
