I have the privilege of serving on two not-for-profit Boards... Women's Community Shelters and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and I wanted to highlight a few of our products which drive donations of a portion of the profit generated towards a number of brilliant charities.
Women's Community Shelters (WCS) provides accommodation and support for women and children escaping violence and experiencing homelessness. In 2025, WCS supported 1,534 women and children in crisis and provided 68,229 safe bed nights. WCS has also played a key role in introducing coercive control legislation. I'm incredibly proud of this organisation and the vital work that it does.
It's coming up to the end of the financial year and you can help support WCS by purchasing Garage Roasters' Shelter Blend (a part of the profit generated is donated to WCS) or by donating directly to the organisation.
