Do you think of yourself as obsessive... what do you obsess about? Do members of your family find your obsessions annoying?
I love to play golf (badly)... at current count I own 34 putters.
I love to cook (decently)... my family complains when I cook the same meal three times in a row in order to nail a couple of elements.
I love the nuance and flavours of wine... I have purchased WAY too many bottles.
I love driving cars which, to me, feel involving... I drive a car with a manual transmission and I obsess about Japanese cars built in the 1990s.
I LOVE coffees that are produced using wild processing techniques and provide a broad and intense flavour spectrum... I run a coffee roasting business.
You get the idea!
I was chatting with a dear friend recently who is the founder of an online education business... he suggested that I needed to put of myself out there MORE in Garage Roasters' marketing campaigns. Do you think that the awkward truth of the obsessive nature of the roastery founder is useful for potential customers or does it distance us from them?
I do believe that obsessive characteristics result in better coffee roasting results. Is that something which resonates with you?
Your thoughts please... I'd love to hear from you!
