The power source of a coffee roaster...
A very short newsletter this week showing the natural gas burners that drive my roaster. They provide plenty of power to heat the rotating drum (conductive heat for the beans) as well as the current of air which flows past the beans to the roaster exhaust (convective heat). There's enough power that, when fully warmed up, the roaster can complete a full capacity roast in less than 13 minutes. Speed of roast is critical as a quick roast allows proper acidity to be maintained.
