About Garage Roasters
Garage Roasters, a family-owned coffee roastery founded in 2015, focuses on coffee made with the finest quality green coffee beans. Our blends combine top grade beans which can all stand alone as single origin coffees and we love roasting African and Colombian single origins.
I trained and practised as a medical doctor and when I started roasting coffee I asked myself “how would a scientist approach this?”. Since then, I’ve done thousands of research roasts changing one variable at a time to maximise flavour quality, consistency, and shelf-life. Coffee consistency and stability mean that you don’t have to change your extraction process every day, stopping the guesswork and giving you back precious time.
We've been featured in Good Food in the Sydney Morning Herald and our coffees have won numerous medals in the world's largest coffee roasting competition, GoldenBean.
Roasting typically occurs on Friday and/or Saturday each week with coffee picked up for delivery the following Monday. Garage Roasters delivers its products in fully compostable satchels and is in the process of transitioning to fully recyclable coffee bags.
